Catharine Farinelli, DDS

Personal care and attention are the hallmarks of what we do and our team and dentist are here to care for you and your smile. Dr. Farinelli earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa in 1984 and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1988. She stays current on the latest techniques and developments in dentistry throughout the year. Dr. Farinelli served in the United States Air Force Dental Corps from 1989 to 1992. She spent five years as a dentist with the Iowa Department of Corrections, which gave her extensive experience with extractions and treating broken-down teeth.

She has had her own dental practice as an independent contractor since 1988 in a two-dentist practice in Iowa City with Dr. Teri Downes. Every day, Dr. Farinelli strives to provide excellent dental treatment in a relaxed, friendly setting. She and her husband Robert have two grown sons. In her spare time, Dr. Farinelli enjoys biking, gardening and yoga and visiting with friends and family. She is a member of the American Dental Association®, the Iowa Dental Association and the Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity.
